This mix will evoke images of the simpler, less hurried time in which our grandmothers lived. An old-fashioned cutting garden was often no more than a corner of the vegetable garden where a few flower seeds were tossed. Their lovely, cheerful blossoms were a bonus after the hard work of sowing, watering, weeding, and harvesting.

    Love this mix!

I planted this mix in 2024 in half of a 4x8 bed (Zone 5b, Northern Colorado) and couldn't be happier with the result. Many of the flowers were new to me and made for beautiful bouquets to gift and enjoy all summer long. By fall it was looking a little wild and scraggly, but that's to be expected, it was totally worth it. I skipped this mix in 2025 and definitely notice a difference, I've seen FAR fewer pollinators and butterflies in my garden. So, it’s back on the list for 2026!

only one kind of flower emerged and it isn't what i would consider sturdy enough for a cut flower arrangement. For the expense, i expected more ........
