Product Details

Our BPA-free grow bags are great for growers with small spaces. The unique liner system allows the soil to retain moisture while still encouraging air pruning, creating a denser, more fibrous rootball. Our lined grow bags are great throughout the hot, dry summer months when traditional unlined grow bags would dry out too quickly. A lot of sunlight? No problem. The grow bag and liner are UV-treated for long-term use. Each grow bag has a unique retaining strip to keep drip lines organized and neat.

Crops like lettuce and herbs will thrive in our 5-gallon bags. Larger crops such as peppers, eggplant, and tomato can be grown in the larger 10 or 15-gallon sizes. The 60-gallon size can be used to house many smaller plants as a raised bed alternative, or can be used for a large plant such as a young tree or moderate to large shrub.

Growers can also utilize grow bags to produce in locations with poor soil, high weed pressure, or lack of drainage. Our bags are much thicker than average grow bags, ensuring you can grow for years worry-free.

Each bag has a built-in irrigation strip that helps keep water lines neat and tidy. Our 60, 65, and 100 gallon grow bags are designed for use in place, and do not have handles. If you would like to adjust after planting your grow bags, opt for a 5, 15, 20, or 25 gallon grow bag.

Materials

BPA-free, non-woven, 100% recycled gray PET felt. The felt weight is 450gsm. The non-woven liner is made from a lighter-weight, water-resistant version of the same gray felt. All materials are UV-treated and should last at least four years.

How To Use

Why We Love It

Having 3 vertical channels for irrigation tubing makes it easy and painless to set up irrigation no matter how you organize your grow bags. They are positioned at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock locations on the bag with channels that keep the tubing organized making your garden look better while reducing tripping hazards.

Lined grow bags are a great solution for growers who want to add containers while reducing water use. The liner helps distribute and trap water in the soil eliminating the issue of water running out the sides of your bag during watering. The bottom quarter is unlined allowing for drainage while effectively reducing root bounding via air pruning. In warmer climates the lined bags can allow you to go more days without watering and reduce overall water stress to your plants.

    Total failure

Planted zucchini, pumpkins, cantaloupe, and rhubarb in separate grow bags using the same soil that I put in my raised beds. Ran drip irrigation throughout the garden, grow bags included. Every plant in the grow bags failed while my raised beds thrived. Not sure exactly why but the difference was stark. May try again, maybe not. We’ll see. Right now, not a fan.

    Hey Charles,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts in a review. There can be various factors that affect plant growth in grow bags versus raised beds, including drainage, root space, and watering patterns. If your grow bags were set on the same watering schedule as your raised beds that may have been the issue. Grow bags are great space savers and make moving plants around easy, depending on the size of bag, but they do require more frequent watering as they dry out faster than a raised bed. Thank you once again for your input. Keep on growing 🌻

    Best Grow Bags

The aeration benefits of grow bags and nearly the water retention of a plastic pot without the root cooking temperature of a plastic pot.

    Best grow bags

These are by far the best grow bags I have had. I have them on my deck and around 5e garden. They maintain moisture better than any other grow bags I have used. Only thing I would change in the size. 10 gallon would have been “ just fine”.

These are great grow bags. Super sturdy and well made except I ordered 5 gallon and got what is closer to three gallons.

    Hey Annie,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us! We're so glad to hear that you're happy with the quality and sturdiness of the grow bags - that's exactly what we strive for! However, we really appreciate you bringing up the sizing concern. That's definitely not the experience we want our customers to have, and your feedback is super valuable in helping us make sure our products meet expectations. We're glad the bags are working well for your growing needs despite the size difference, and we truly appreciate your honest review. Keep on growing 🌻️
