Heavenly Blue Morning Glory Seeds

Ipomoea tricolor

This showy climber will dazzle all who are lucky enough to behold it! Morning glory is so named because the flowers open in the cool of morning, then close when it gets too hot. On cloudy days and in the fall, the blossoms stay open all day. Caution: Parts of this plant are toxic if ingested.

Just planted these on Sunday. It’s Friday and they’re already growing rapidly. In five days they must’ve sprouted 3 inches! I’ve never seen a seed sprout so quickly. I’ll update this post with more pictures as they continue to grow.

I ordered a couple hundred dollars worth of seed packets for my daughter's bridal shower (her last name will be Flores (flower) so this was a fun idea. However, the quality if the paper seed packets was horrible. I have been buying Botanical Interest seeds for a decade and the packets were high quality but they were bad quality recently. I couldn't give most if them away, they were faded, dirty and crumpled. Super disappointing.
