I was happy this Marvel of Peru 4 O'Clock made it at all in the conditions: quite dry, rocky and "disturbed" (not native, industrial/cheap fill) soil, full sun, next to a wall that absorbs and emits heat, right in Denver, CO. I did add a soaker hose line after it had sprouted. It got about two feet around. Now that I look at the photo I don't know whether there was one plant or more than one there that grew. This was an experiment for me and I was delighted.

This Marvel of Peru is the only one of the seeds that I tried to grow out of the 4 different types of seed that I bought from Botanical Interests. I hope it continues to grow now that I've transplanted it in my garden. Can't wait to see sum pretty flowers sprout out!!
