These popped up within a couple days, and are growing beautifully, germination rate for me was 100% under grow lights and using a humidity dome.

Thank you for your honest 3-star review and for sharing your experience with the Tulsi Holy Basil Seeds! You're absolutely right that timing can make a huge difference with these seeds, and late summer is definitely more challenging for getting tulsi established.
Tulsi really loves warm soil and consistent moisture to get going, but it also needs enough time to develop before cooler weather sets in. Spring planting is perfect timing because it gives the plants the whole growing season to establish those strong root systems and really take off. You'll likely see much better germination and growth when you try again in spring!
Tulsi can be a bit particular about its growing conditions, but once it gets established, it's such a rewarding herb to grow. The plants become these beautiful, aromatic bushes that just keep producing those wonderful leaves all season long.
We really appreciate you giving them another shot in spring - that patience and willingness to work with the plant's natural timing usually pays off big time with tulsi. Your experience with the seasonal timing will definitely be helpful for other gardeners who might be wondering about the best time to start their seeds!

I have been watching epic Gardner for several years this is my second year starting my plants by seed they came up quickly, grew so fast the extra in each cell we put in our salad. It is delicious.
