I love munching on these as i walk through my garden. I have 100 tomato plants growing right now and these are the first ones i come upon every morning. They are not 18” though. Not by a long stretch. They are closer to 3 feet, lol. Either my seeds were extra, or my soil was good. Im not mad about it- i get to pick a bowl of them everyday!
I like giving my harvest away to my neighbors and the colour this tomato adds to the boxes i leave at their doorsteps is eye catching!
It’s a very mild non acidic tomato in my opinion and easy to add to any meal or salad.
I definitely recommend these, but again, im not sure about the size. If you put this plant in a small container and on your porch, you may find yourself in a jungle of tomato leaves and fruits. Lol.

It sounds like you definitely hit the jackpot with growing conditions because those 3-foot plants are clearly thriving in your care! Sometimes when the soil is just right and the plants are happy, they really do exceed expectations and put on that extra vigorous growth. I grew these little guys next to my Sun Golds and I liked the Patio Choice even better. No splitting, no crazy vines, no disease, and they make amazing tomato jam. Added to my list of Must Grow tomatoes for next year.
