So, these didn't really grow. That being said, I ordered/sowed them at the wrong time. Here in Missouri, it would have been best to sow these a little earlier in the year or even the prior fall around the first frost/snow. That's what I did with some other native wildflower seeds and they have grown like crazy! I got overzealous and sowed these in March and it just didn't get cold enough for them to really get the "signal" that they can start growing. I would suggest timing shipments of these for the fall or perhaps just a stronger warning about the need for these natives to go through stratification. Overall, I don't think it was the seed that was the problem, but the timing.

The flowers were beautiful! I gave them to my mother and grandmother for Mother’s Day.

Don't plant this in Colorado. It contains A. Syriaca, common milkweed. We have showy milkweed here that is close but not common. And our swamp milkweed is the yellow variety not the red/orange.
