About Allure Pastel Blend Sweet Alyssum Seeds
Lobularia maritima
Sweetly fragrant, colorful plants are star garden performers! Alluring, pastel shades of tiny flowers are massed on low, compact mounds. Fanciful along the front of your flowerbed, on the edge of a border, here and there in a rock garden, or in containers. The mild-clove-flavored petals make a colorful garnish to salads, desserts, and cold drinks. (The flower's central disk, while edible, can be bitter.)

Most seeds germinated and grew very quickly. I've gotten lavender and white blooms but no pink yet. As described, my alyssum has been attracting wasps. Great seeds but it would be nice to have more pink.

We totally get wanting to see more of that gorgeous pink color in the mix - sometimes the different colors in blends can take their own sweet time to show up, but keep an eye out because those pink beauties might still surprise you! Several years ago most of my seeds would sprout, including some pink and purple and one or two yellow, but mostly white. The past couple of years sprouting has been sparse. After last year I made sure to plant seeds slightly after the last frost date and to water them properly but I got NO SPROUTS at all.

I'm not sure how many seeds I planted, but many sprouts came up. I've actually struggled starting alyssum seeds and I finally found the trick. I'm not sure if I should thin some since there are so many. I am looking forward to see all the different colors! Also, my points have not been added to my account, not sure why.
