American Legion Corn Poppy Seeds

Papaver rhoeas

John McCrae, a Canadian physician and soldier who served in World War I, immortalized the Flanders poppy, also known as corn poppy. His poem, "In Flanders Fields" spoke of these red poppies as reminders of those who had lost their lives in war. Scatter them in early spring or fall for your own personal memorial, or simply enjoy them for their glorious beauty.

    Hey Gael,

We're absolutely thrilled to hear that our American Legion Corn Poppy Seeds reseeded themselves and are putting on such an amazing show with that gorgeous foliage! The fact that they came back on their own is just incredible - nature at its finest! We're just as excited as you are to see what those blooms are going to look like when they open up. And how fantastic that your delphinium is getting ready to bloom too - sounds like you're going to have an absolutely stunning garden display! We love hearing that all your BI seeds have been such great performers for you. Thanks for sharing your poppy reseeding success story with us! Keep on growing 🌻️
