| Growing & Harvesting | When seedlings emerge, the first pair of leaves to show are the cotyledons, which can look very different from the leaves that follow, called "true" leaves. Microgreens are ready to harvest when they have cotyledons, or when the first true leaves have begun to form, depending on preference. Cool growing temperatures may slow the expected amount of days to maturity. Using scissors, cut microgreens just above the soil line when you are ready to use them. |

Did not germinate after 2 tries, they a like had a gel covering an on them and then got moldy

The gel-like coating is often a natural substance released by some seeds during sprouting, but excess moisture and poor airflow can cause mold to develop. We recommend rinsing and draining thoroughly 2–3 times daily and ensuring there’s no standing water during the sprouting process. This seed has a AMAZING! I started them and they germinated in 2 days! Plus they thrive inside where I snip them for cooking. I have restarted seeds now a second time and will keep these as a kitchen staple.
