About Epic Grow Light - Small
Starting seeds indoors just got easier! This Epic Seed Starting Grow Light gives you the ability to start seeds in a more adaptable form.

Taking under two square feet, our grow light is perfect for countertops without being an eyesore.
Use the light as you grow your seedlings. The height is easily adjustable from 6.5 inches to 11 inches.
The LEDs were designed for vegetative plant growth while still being energy efficient. There are 5 brightness settings that further allow you to adjust the intensity of light.
An integrated timer allows you to control how much light your plants get. The timer allows for 8, 12, and 16 hour light cycles.

Not only does this grow light fit well with our Epic cell trays and seed heating mat, its adjustable LED makes growing seedlings through their time indoors easier.
How to Use
If you are using a 1020 UBT, do not place the seed heating mat inside. It should be placed under the tray. Note: a UBT is only compatible with the 11 inch height. The 6.5 inch legs cannot fit around a UBT.
Do not immerse the LED panel in water.
Simply place your seed starting trays, cells, or houseplants within a bottom tray (not included) and fit it within the brackets. Water them as needed depending on ambient conditions.
For newly started seedlings: Set the light to the lowest brackets above your sprouts after they emerge. Then adjust the height to the tallest brackets as your seedlings grow taller. Monitor your plants under the 6.5 inch setting. The LED lights can get hot.
For small houseplants: Set to whichever setting keeps the light at least 6 inches above your plant’s leaves. Offset the light for those plants that require bright, indirect lighting.
How to Clean Your Epic Seed Starting Grow Light:
DO NOT immerse the grow light in water. Instead, spot clean the surface and side brackets with a damp cloth as needed.

I should have read the demissions before ordering. It will not fit a 1020 tray, which I needed for the top shelf of my seed starting station. Other than the size disappointment, the light works well and does the job.

Maybe I'm just new to seed starting but I'm not crazy about this fixture. Maybe because it's a single line of lights and the beam didn't spread out enough to encourage plant growth. But aside from that I found it rather difficult not only to insert the legs and stabilize them on the feet but when I changed them out for the taller legs one of the plastic holes broke. For me, not a buy again.

I love this little light. It has 5 different light strengths, 3 settings for 8, 12 & 16 hour timer, a off/on button. It also comes with 2 sets of (4)legs for 2 different heights.
When putting it together make sure you put the legs on the right side of the base. In other reviews I noticed that they are having a hard time. One side has larger holes. Hope it helps.

I had the same issue as others - the poles don't stay in place. Thankfully I start seeds in soil blocks so it fits over the lunch tray. It cannot be used with any seed starting tray(s) other than Epic Gardening.
