How to Use
Getting Started:
- Assemble and place the light over your seed tray.
- Plug it in, set the timer, and turn it on.
- Keep the light close as seeds sprout, then raise it as seedlings grow.
For newly started seedlings: Set the light to the lowest setting above your sprouts after they emerge. Then adjust the height to the tallest setting as your seedlings grow taller.
For small houseplants: Set to whichever setting keeps the light at least 6 inches above your plant’s leaves. Offset the light for those plants that require bright, indirect lighting.
How to Clean Your Epic Grow Light with Tray: Do not immerse the LED panel in water. Instead, spot clean the surface with a damp cloth as needed.

Q: Will this burn my seedlings?
A: No. The LEDs are designed for seedlings and produce bright light without excess heat so you can place it close to your trays.
Q: Is it hard to set up?

I bought the epic grow light/tray/heat pad package earlier this spring. Everything has been working great except one small thing- where the light's adjustable poles attach to the light itself and to the tray base- the pole screws go one direction to attach to the light and the opposite to attach to the tray. There are black plastic attachment pieces that the pole attaches to the tray with. Mine cracked on both sides when trying to get the poles attached to the tray. This happened when I was first setting it up. Now that I need to raise up my light higher, the light is just barely balancing because its not screwed in and the poles wont stay adjusted correctly. I'm hoping I can order some replacement parts.

Everything else I've gotten from here has been great, seeds are great, beds are great, starter cells are great, these lights however I feel like aren't the same quality. The plastic attachments to the tray are very very fragile, and I've managed to break two out of three of them, not the end of the world because you can still kind of just sit it there on the broken bits and it's fine, it just makes it hard to move.
The other issue I have with the lights is that I feel like it's not quite bright enough for the 6 cell trays in the lowest position and most of the seedlings I've sown in them have become a bit leggy. Again not the end of the world, I just use the four cell trays now for everything and I feel like those start seedlings off at a good height to light ratio.

The part where the leg attaches to the base is very fragile and snapped off easily, within the first 5 weeks of ownership. The screw mechanism is a brittle plastic.

I ordered early, during sale, months later unboxed, screwed on feet thinking attached to tray, unscrew feet and tried screwing into tray one of the legs plastic connectors cracked, now shimmed into try, wobbly but working. Low quality for the price, but it does works except for plastic screw connectors.
