Determined to grow these in zone 8 I started these indoors in the fall and planted them outdoors (also in the fall). It worked! South east gardeners, this type of poppy is fantastic!

Iceland poppy seeds have become hard to find, and expensive. Botanical Interests has become my go-to for these seeds.

These are the first Iceland poppies I’ve been able to grow as they are notoriously difficult and I’m very happy with the results. Lots of colors and after searing great vase life, going strong on 4 days with this white one featured in my mixed arrangement.
