Late summer-sown carrots are sweetened after having been kissed by light frost; however, harvest before soil freezes, which may destroy the crop. Loved these carrots, grew them at the perfect time 2 years ago, much too late last year, and will be trying again with a larger patch this year with some raised beds. Would always recommend this variety!

These carrots grew well and had good flavor. Carrots are finicky so I made seed tape and planted them that way-worked like a charm!

Everyone told me that carrots were hard to grow. These carrots were easy to grow! We are in North Alabama and they did very well. I planted some seeds I bought at Lowe’s (very little production)and the BI seeds at the same time. The Bi seeds produced so many carrots that we canned 12 quarts, shared with family and friends, and enjoyed fresh. This was our first canning experience also! We are beyond hooked on gardening!! Ordering more today
