Zeolights Calendula (Pot Marigold) Seeds

Calendula officinalis

A new twist on the medicinal cottage-garden flower, this fancy beauty makes other calendulas look plain. Bronzy-orange petals fade to a delicate light pink, artfully contrasting with the yellow base and maroon back. Add the edible petals to salads and sandwiches or use as a garnish for a pretty touch.

    Germinated well

Calendula takes forever to grow but these were the fastest. 4 stars because the colors on the picture are more pink and the actual flowers lean more tan brown.

    Hey Alyssa,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with our Calendula seeds! We're thrilled to hear they germinated well and were faster growing than you expected - that's always exciting to see in the garden.

We really appreciate your feedback about the flower colors. You're absolutely right that calendula can show some natural variation, and we understand the difference between expectation and reality can be a bit disappointing. The beautiful thing about these flowers is that they often develop deeper, richer tones as they mature and with different growing conditions, but we definitely want our photos to represent what you can expect as accurately as possible.

Thank you again for your honest review and for being part of our gardening community. Keep on growing 🌻️

    Zeolights

One plant germinated from entire packet. I'm a well seasoned grower who germinates my plants through winter sowing, hydroponics and traditional methods, so was really disappointed this year when several packets either had no or incredibly low germination rates. This is not my normal experience with Botanical Interest seeds. Not sure if they have changed suppliers or there were storage issues, but this is not the quality product that I've always looked forward to.
